Duel (duel.com) launched in 2025, founded by Ossi «Monarch» Ketola, the entrepreneur behind CSGOEmpire. It is a crypto casino and sportsbook whose identity is its pricing model: no bonuses at all, replaced by flat rakeback — 100% of the sportsbook margin returned, 50% of the edge on slots, 80% on its in-house blackjack, for every player from the first bet.

Duelbits has operated since 2020 under Liquid Entertainment N.V. It is a polished crypto casino and sportsbook with a classic promotional architecture: welcome offers (free spins packages, a sports free bet with deposit-wagering triggers) and a 30-tier loyalty ladder — Ace's Rewards — whose level-up rakeback runs from 5% at the first milestone to 12.5% at the top, paid through its «Bits» system of instant, daily, weekly and monthly claims. Marketing for Duelbits frequently quotes «up to 50% rakeback»; that figure describes the combined promotional ceiling of the Bits system, not a flat rate — the level-based rates are the dependable numbers, and the distinction matters enough that we decode it fully below.

This comparison's most useful contribution is probably decoding two superficially identical claims. Duelbits' «up to 50%» is a promotional ceiling: the Bits system layers instant, daily, weekly and monthly claims whose combined value can, at the right activity levels and promotions, approach that figure — while the guaranteed, level-based rakeback runs 5% to 12.5% depending on your position on a 30-tier ladder. It is a real and reasonably generous loyalty system; it is not a flat half of the house edge.

Duel's 50% is the flat rate: half the house edge on every slot bet, from the first wager, with no ladder — and on the sportsbook the figure is 100% of the margin, a category of return Duelbits does not offer at all.
